Meet the Owner & Designer
My story starts with a love for the ocean and a deep belief that fashion can—and should—do better. Growing up in the Caribbean, I spent my days by the sea, surrounded by its beauty, energy, and, honestly, its fragility. I’d sit and watch the waves hit the sand but I also saw the damage that was quietly happening beneath the surface—pollution, waste, and the way we were treating the planet.
After studying fashion design, I began to realize how deeply the industry was contributing to these environmental issues. I couldn’t turn a blind eye any longer. Fashion, something I’ve always loved, was part of the problem. That’s when the idea of Viera Swim was born.
The Inspiration Behind It
I wanted to create a brand that was more than just swimwear—a brand that educates, empowers, and inspires. For conscious women who want to feel good in what they wear—not just for how it looks, but for what it represents.
